und warten alle noch auf ein neues Zuhause &#8211; Vielleicht bei Ihnen?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>P\u00fcnktlich zum neuen Jahr starten wir unsere neue Kampagne unter dem Titel &#8222;Adult Awareness (AA)&#8220; die dazu beitragen soll, dass auch erwachsene Katzen die Chance auf ein neues Zuhause erhalten. Denn diese ben\u00f6tigen es dringender als junge Katzen, die sich noch gut ihrer neuen Umgebung anpassen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p>Viele Menschen denken, dass sich die Adoption einer erwachsenen Katze schwieriger gestaltet, als die eines 3-4 Monate alten K\u00e4tzchens. Dies ist nur bedingt richtig: <\/p>\n<p>Wir bei Progat e. V. vermitteln nur Tiere, die zu 100% familientauglich sind. Alle Tiere, die wir betreuen, sei es in Kolonien, F\u00fctterungsstationen oder auf der Stra\u00dfe, durchlaufen einen Evaluierungsprozess nach dem Sechs-Augen-Prinzip die Tiere in drei Kategorien eingeteilt werden:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vermittlungsf\u00e4hig<\/li>\n<li>Nicht vermittelbar<\/li>\n<li>Bedingt vermittelbar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tiere, die wir f\u00fcr nicht vermittelbar halten, erhalten die Chance auf einem knapp 3000 m<sup>2<\/sup> gro\u00dfen, umz\u00e4unten Grundst\u00fcck gemeinsam mit etwa 40 anderen Katzen zu leben. Dort erhalten die Tiere t\u00e4glich frisches Futter und Wasser, sowie eine medizinische Versorgung und regelm\u00e4\u00dfige Darreichungen von Antiparasitika und Impfungen. <\/p>\n<p>Bedingt vermittelbare Tiere werden \u00fcber einen Zeitraum von mehreren Monaten genauer beobachtet sowie sozialisiert. Am Ende der Evaluierungs- und Sozialisierungsphase werden die Tiere entweder der Kategorie &#8222;vermittlungsf\u00e4hig&#8220; oder &#8222;nicht vermittelbar&#8220; zugeordnet. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#f20408\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Unsere erwachsenen Katzen, die zur Vermittlung freigegeben sind, ben\u00f6tigen menschlichen Kontakt. Sie sind entweder ausgesetzte Wohnungskatzen, die von ihren Besitzern aufgegeben und zur\u00fcckgelassen wurden oder Tiere die sich w\u00e4hrend ihrer Zeit bei uns sehr stark an Menschen gew\u00f6hnt haben. Einige unserer adulten Katzen sind deutlich verschmuster und kuscheliger als viele Katzen, die wir im Akter von zwei bis drei Monaten aufgreifen. Wir k\u00f6nnen Sie bei der Auswahl Ihres zuk\u00fcnftigen Mitbewohners \u00fcber dessen Charaktereigenschaften beraten und bis zu einem gewissen Grad herausfinden, ob das Tier f\u00fcr Sie geeignet ist.
